This blog is about leadership, but a special kind. I call it “citizen leadership.” You’ll learn what I mean by that term as you investigate here.
Who is it for? Well, it’s for everyone; however I think it will be most useful for “young people.” Now that term can mean different things to different people, but I suspect people fifteen to thirty years of age will be the ones who find value here.
This site can be of value to others too, people such as corporate leaders, Presidents and Congressmen, but I suspect they may not think there's much they can still learn about leadership. After all, they are leaders, kinda.
I’ll warn you that you may find this blog to be a bit provocative…intellectually. That is intentional. If we only consider topics we're already comfortable with, we're not likely to learn much. If I can provoke a bit of contemplation and learning, I’ll have accomplished what I wanted here.
I also strongly encourage you to read the “caveat emptor” (buyer beware) on this page. I consider that warning to be very important for you.
OK...open your mind, dive in and enjoy.
